I'm a (very) part-time Research Associate on the MusDig project, where I'm working with Georgina Born and Kyle Devine on the quantitative side of the data from UCAS about the social stratification of different kinds of music degrees in the UK.
The rest of the time, I'm a full-time researcher at the University of Manchester, where I work on the AHRC-funded project Understanding Everyday Participation - Articulating Cultural Values. Before that, I worked as a teaching fellow in Sociology at the University of York, and before that I did a DPhil in Sociology at Nuffield College, Oxford under the supervision of Tak Wing Chan.
